Worked alongside full-time study in a fast-paced customer environment. Built reliability, teamwork and calm problem-solving under pressure.
Final-year Computer Science student.
13-month Digital Innovation placement completed at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
I build practical systems across software, data and automation. During my placement I shipped production tools used across a live manufacturing environment; outside work, I build projects from first principles to understand what is happening underneath the abstraction.
I am a final-year Computer Science student at the University of Huddersfield, predicted First-Class Honours, following a completed 13-month Digital Innovation placement at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
My work has covered production software, automation, analytics and systems delivery under real enterprise constraints. I enjoy taking a problem from the first conversation through to something reliable enough for people to use every day.
Worked alongside full-time study in a fast-paced customer environment. Built reliability, teamwork and calm problem-solving under pressure.
Built foundations across software, databases, AI, operating systems and computer architecture, with a strong preference for understanding systems from first principles.
Completed a 13-month Digital Innovation placement delivering production software, automation and analytics inside a live automotive manufacturing environment.
Targeting graduate opportunities across systems, software/platform, data and engineering environments with meaningful end-to-end ownership.

Designed and hand-wired a working 8-bit sequential CPU from logic components, including RAM, registers, an ALU, a shared bus and hardwired control. Version 1 executes a Fibonacci sequence; version 2 is in development.
Co-developed a production platform tracking 2,100+ manufacturing tools, integrating QR identification, Zebra label printing and live Power BI reporting for 100+ concurrent users.
A broader view of the systems, automation, analytics and Power Platform work delivered during my industrial placement, along with the technical and professional outcomes.
Building a relational database engine from scratch, covering custom storage structures, indexing, query execution and a bespoke query language without external database libraries.
I am interested in graduate roles starting in 2027 across systems engineering, software/platform, data and related technical environments where I can solve complex problems and own work end-to-end.
If the work sits between software, systems, data and real operational users, it is probably worth a conversation.
